Day Trip From Lovina To Ubud
Ubud as a central Bali’s tourism object is really easy to be accessed from every direction in all over Bali. from the North Bali itself actually can be done by doing a full day trip from Lovina to Ubud by combined with some sightseeing stops along the way.because it would be too sad to ignore all the stunning natural view and landscapes along your direct drive or ride.
This full day trip from Lovina to ubud is recommended to take a private driver or self drive or scooter ride compared than take a shuttle bus or public bus.and it would totally confused if you take a public bus. In North Bali area, you should change 2 times public mini bus,called bemo.then you will catch another bus from Sukasada bus station then drive you to the next bus station in Denpasar,Ubung bus station.then from there you have to take another taxi to Ubud. cause it has no public bus from Ubung bus terminal to ubud. it is too confused,right ??
Famous Routes from Lovina To Ubud
Anyway, there are 3(Three) main routes from lovina to Ubud with some place of interests along each route which will be mentioned as below :
- Route 1 (Gitgit route ).
On this route you can visit the first stop at Singaraja Historical city ,then drive up hill to see the Gitgit waterfall, the famous and easiest waterfall to access for every ages of travelers. drive further up through the busiest main route Singaraja-Denpasar, you will arrived at the alt.1.400 above sea level. here you will see a group of monkeys(‘genus macaca ) waiting for every people who passed by to feed them with a stunning view of the Lake Buyan as its background.A while after continue,you will arrive at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple ( temple on the Lake ).here you will the 17 centuries temple compound which build by the King of Mengwi for the sake of irrigation for their Agricultural. also in this area you can take some Lunch or directly continue drive to Ubud.
- Route2 (munduk route )
The first stop from Lovina will be the Budhist Temple, A blending Architecture between Hindu and budhist itself. Impressive Place is the worth word to be addressed for this temple with its stunning ocean view from the mini Borobudur temple in North Bali. just 10 minutes drive from this temple will take you to Banjar, Hot spring where you can do bathing .do you know, what ? Bettina says “ wow I feel amazing and fresh after took a bath at the hot Bath”.some clients also said having swim at the Hot bath contains by Sulphur is really good for the skin and it believes could help to cure the skin’s diseases.after an hour drive from here, you will be arrived at Munduk waterfall with its coffee and clove plantation for about 15 minutes walk to the fall.A steep up drive to the twin lake view point and enjoy the cool breeze of the mountain while you can have a Lunch at the Local restaurant.a while after you will visit some monkeys at the street await you to feed them, then to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple ( temple on the lake).it take another 1,5 hours from this temple to Ubud area.
- Route 3 (Kintamani route)
It would be Singaraja Historical city as your first stop to see the ex-harbour of Buleleng (Formerly was the vital Harbour for the Dutch as the Base for their logistic distribution, Power and Singaraja was a Capital for Bali,Lombok and lesser Sundas). then drive through the city to Sangsit Village to see the Beji Temple,the temple for the Goodess of the rice.it takes another 1,5 hours from here to Kintamani area to enjoy the stunning view of Mt.Batur and Lake Batur while you have your Lunch at the Local Restaurants.drive down through outside an ancient Mt.Batur crater rim to see Tegallalang rice terraces .it is possible to do your own trekking in the rice field, just before you arrive in Ubud area.
Other Routes In Any Cases
Some others route could be done via the east coast( via Amplapura city) or west coast (Via Negara and Tabanan City) with a full day trip from Lovina to Ubud. But it is not recommended cause it will take so long hours by sitting at the car with less place of interests to visit. the west coast street is mostly crowded and heavy traffics from Java to Denpasar,Bali. so at some point, for others tourism object should be accessed from the closest Tourism area which effectively in time, and can do as much itinerary on a day trip.
